Atom-R workshop: Performing Thresholds: Invisibility, Virtuality & Ritual

This interdisciplinary workshop was led by the ATOM-r collective and engaged movement, text, and technology through the contemporary paradigm of mixed reality in which physical and virtual spaces are intertwined. Participants constructed a ritual performance working with a gestural and movement vocabulary that activates the sensors of their smartphones to generate texts, images and audio.
Artists from a range of backgrounds relating to performance, writing, and technology are encouraged participated over two days in Edric Theatre.
